2024 Presidential Election: Key Dates and Events
Primaries and Caucuses
The primary and caucus process for the 2024 presidential election will officially begin in early 2024. The first primary is scheduled for February 6, 2024, and the final primary is scheduled for June 7, 2024. Candidates will need to win a majority of delegates in order to secure their party's nomination.
Conventions
The two major political parties, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, will hold their national conventions in July and August 2024.
