Suburban Rail Loop East Digital Environment Effects Statement Released
SRLA Prepares Digital SRL Environment Effects Statement
EMF Focuses on Environmental Management Framework
The Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) has released a digital Environment Effects Statement (EES) for the Suburban Rail Loop East (SRL East) project. The SRL is a new 90-kilometer rail line that will connect Melbourne's metropolitan train lines from the Frankston Line in the south to the Werribee Line in the west.
The SRL East EES is a key part of the planning process for the project. It assesses the potential environmental impacts of the project and identifies measures to avoid, mitigate, and manage these impacts. The EES also includes an Environmental Management Framework (EMF) that outlines the principles and objectives for managing environmental risks during the construction and operation of the project.
The digital EES is available for public comment until [insert date]. The public is encouraged to review the EES and provide feedback to the SRLA.
