Highway 3 Backup Saturday Caused by Suspected DUI Rollover
36-Year-Old Woman Reportedly Involved
Northbound Lanes Blocked During Commute
The northbound lanes of Highway 3 in Bremerton were blocked for part of Thursday afternoon's commute due to a two-car collision.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a 36-year-old Bremerton woman was driving under the influence when she caused the accident.
The woman's car collided with another vehicle, causing both cars to roll over.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other car was not injured.
The highway was closed for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
