The film will explore the story of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary king of Rohan who built the fortress of Helm's Deep. The film will depict the historical conflict between Rohan and Dunland, which took place in the 27th century of the Third Age of Middle-earth.
The War of the Rohirrim is set to be released in theaters on April 12, 2024. The film is directed by Kenji Kamiyama and produced by Warner Bros. Animation and New Line Cinema.
