Disapproval Grows As Americans Question Bidens Reelection Chances

Kamala Harris' Approval Rating Remains Unfavorable

Disapproval Grows as Americans Question Biden's Reelection Chances

USA Today Poll Shows Harris' Net Rating at -16

According to a recent poll by USA Today, Vice President Kamala Harris' public approval rating remains unfavorable among registered voters. As of April 23, 39% had a favorable opinion of Harris, while 55% had an unfavorable opinion, resulting in a net rating of -16 percentage points.

This poll underscores concerns about President Joe Biden's age and potential reelection prospects. A November survey by the same organization found that Harris' approval rating was at 28%, making her one of the least popular vice presidents in recent years.

Harris' ratings contrast sharply with those of foreign leaders such as Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Xi Jinping is viewed positively by a median of 18% of adults, while Putin's approval rating is even lower.

The low approval ratings for both Harris and Biden raise questions about the Democratic Party's chances in the upcoming presidential election. Republicans may see an opportunity to capitalize on these weaknesses and gain ground in the polls.
