Resetting the TPMS Light
If the TPMS light on your 2005 Toyota Tundra is illuminated, it indicates a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system. To reset the light, follow these steps:
- Turn the ignition switch to the "On" position, but do not start the engine.
- Locate the TPMS reset button on the left side of the steering column, below the dash.
- Press and hold the TPMS reset button for at least 5 seconds, or until the TPMS light begins to flash.
- Release the TPMS reset button and the light will turn off.
